Summary

On a weekend trip to visit family members, Maya was attacked by her aunt for her drug use, and she had to speak to all her relatives about the progress she was making in her life. Upon returning, a sense of dread pervaded her when she was told that she would be allowed to leave the facility in a few weeks. She felt unprepared to do so.
