Summary

In Chapter 46, Abeo calls Serafine and they agree to meet at McDonald’s. Serafine shows up late and can’t understand why Abeo wants to meet at McDonald’s. Serafine doesn’t apologize; instead she asks Abeo if Abeo is still angry with her. When Abeo says no Serafine asks if she will come home now. Instead of answering, Abeo asks Serafine if she remembers the Bic Mac she brought to Ukemby from the United States. Then Abeo confesses she stole the ring with a blue stone and that she thought it was the reason she’d ended up in the shrine. Abeo gives Serafine a silver and turquoise ring she made herself to replace the stolen one.
