The Glasshouse, Part VI Summary

Chapters 42-45

Isaac, Lemuel, Yagharek and Derkhan go to Riverskin to inspect the enormous Glasshouse that encompasses most of the district where Cactacae live, like an enormous sweaty greenhouse. They suspect the Glasshouse is where the slake moths hide during daylight hours, to rest for their nocturnal hunting sprees. Lemuel climbs up a very long ladder to the top of the glass dome, and what he finds there is indeed a large crack in the glass big enough to permit the predators to enter and leave. The others climb up and gaze at the bustling community below. As evening approaches, Yagharek lowers himself on a rope inside the dome followed by several monkey constructs.
