Chapters 5 and 6 Summary

The first thing Katie says to Tommy is that he can't sit at the table he's sitting at. He mentions that he didn't think she was "drinking the Kool-aid" too. Tommy makes a statement that makes Katie realize that he saw her kissing Eric out back before her shift. They arrange to meet at her father's boat that night. After Tommy leaves, she finds out he lied to the hostess about going to the high school and that's why she sat him in that booth. She also talks with one of the other waitresses. When Katie tells Shaniqua the guy is Tommy Sullivan, Shaniqua asks if it is the same Tommy Sullivan the gym wall has spray-painted on it, "Tommy Sullivan is a..." about. Katie confirms it is one and the same.
