Summary

In Act 2, "Entanglements," no one slept well. After only two showers, "the water supply was about to run dry for the day" (85). The guests were not heeding Masha's warnings about the country plumbing (85).

When Dee accepted Ed's invitation to take a walk, the Actor was jealous. Nat ran outside asking Karen if she wanted "to visit Steve the Groundhog's winter house" (86). The Actor requested a meeting with Senderovsky in his bungalow.

Dee and Ed walked on opposite sides of the road. They talked about the landscape and their pasts.
