Summary
Back at home, Roselyn denies possessing fire abilities. Salathiel struggles to dismiss what he witnessed, and still asks her to never use the power again. Meanwhile, Gaven grows distant from Roselyn, which deeply hurts her. She begins having recurring nightmares and suspects it might be a memory of the fire that killed her parents.
Analysis
Salathiel’s calm acceptance of Roselyn’s power contrasts with Gaven’s distrust. His role as a mediator highlights his maturity, while Roselyn’s guilt and denial underscore her fear of rejection.
