Art as a Positive Force

In many ways, Wilson writes about how art has a power beyond the sum of its parts to leave a mark on the world from its author. As Frankie and Zeke hang up their posters during their initial wave of activity after they first create it, Frankie muses on how she hopes that the posters she hangs in an abandoned house will be there forever as a reminder to her future self of who she was at this age.
