Nothing to See Here Overview
Nothing to See Here is a novel by Kevin Wilson. The story takes place in 1995 and follows 28-year-old Lillian Breaker, whose life has been limited due to her impoverished upbringing. One day, she is hired by a wealthy friend as a live-in nanny for two children: Bessie and Roland. The main problem is that, whenever Bessie and Roland become very agitated, they inexplicably burst into flames. As Lillian tries to help the twins control their emotions, she begins to form an emotional bond with them. The novel explores themes of privilege, interpersonal connection, selfishness, responsibility, and personal fulfillment.
