Summary

Section 25 begins with a dream: Adichie's father is back after all. The dream is so vivid, and Adichie yearns to believe that he has come back to life. Okey must have been mistaken when he visited the mortuary. Adichie slaps her arm in the dream to make sure that it is not a dream, and her father lives still. She wakes up to the exquisite pain that her father is indeed dead. In Section 26, Adichie presents a group of stories about her father and his career as a statistician.
