Chapters 54-62 Summary

That night, Suslev is waiting for Arthur at the Sinclair Towers. He changed the rendezvous to there because of his meeting with Grey. He knows that Sinders is arriving the next day. Jason Plumm arrives at the apartment and the two men greet each other. Plumm says he thinks the apartment may be under surveillance. They talk about the two men arrested by SI caught in the act with the drop. Suslev assures him that the Soviet sailor knows nothing about Sevrin. The Soviet sailor's name is Metkin and he was set up by Suslev because he was prying around in Suslev's business.

Plumm did not know that Crosse also functioned as a KGB informer. The phone rings once and then stops. This is a code for danger. Both men quickly leave the apartment, escaping through the stairwell. Suslev asks if...
