Martin Luther King Jr

Martin Luther King Jr is one of the most famous civil rights leaders in the country. He proposes civil disobedience and nonviolence. He becomes involved in the March on Washington, and as a member of the Big Six, he works with the other men to decide the scope, purpose, and methods the protesters will use. King wants the march to include acts of civil disobedience, but he acquiesces to Wilkins who believes that such acts could hinder the progress of the civil rights bill.
