Summary

In Chapter 15, Rachel and Ofer attend a party for the cast and crew of Jace’s TV show, ‘Breathers.’ Rachel becomes desperately hungry and sits in a bathroom stall to eat a nutrition bar. When she emerges, she is embarrassed when Jace notices her still chewing part of the bar. In Chapter 16, the next time Rachel goes to the frozen yogurt shop, Miriam makes a sundae for her, which Rachel eats. Rachel feels a connection to Miriam. Miriam says that her brother, Adiv, has gone to Israel to serve in the Israel Defense Force (IDF). In Chapter 17, after eating the sundae, Miriam gives herself permission to eat whatever she wants for the rest of the day and night. When she goes to sleep that night, she feels happy and satisfied.
