Chapter 7 Summary

In Chapter 7, the day before thanksgiving break, Mr. Weir, Naomi's photography class teacher tells her she is in danger of failing the class because she has not turned in her project. After school, she and James grab some drinks and walk around town. James drops her back off at school for yearbook, where she tells Will she's quitting yearbook and they get into a big fight. James is waiting for her after yearbook. He drives her to see the headstone of the author of Sleepy Hollow. James confesses his love to Naomi, but tells her that if things go bad between them that she has to promise to break up with him and forget about him.
