Chapters 11-12 Summary

Felix and Mildmay finally reach the ocean. They have never seen it before. There are seamen there who have red hair and yellow eyes, like Felix and Mildmay. They get passage on a ship bound for Troia. Mildmay has to fight to get Felix on the boat. Felix goes into madness. They lock him in his room on the ship. Mildmay works on the ship to pay for their passage. Mildmay is embarrassed to be rough with Felix in front of these men. Felix believes that Mildmay is his keeper again. He plots for a way to kill him. Eventually, the madness passes. Felix is still not sure what is real and what is hallucination. Mildmay tries to reassure him, but Mildmay is exasperated. He can't wait to get to the Garden of Nephele, where hopefully, Felix can be cured. The...
