Chapter 15 Summary

As they leave the beach, Pitt teases Giordino about the gun, first because it is small and secondly because Al forgot to release the safety on the device. Al takes the teasing with good humor. When Al tells Pitt that he took the gun off Teri the day they kidnapped her, Pitt's mind takes off in thought again. Back aboard the First Attempt Pitt is confronted by an irate Gunn, who wants to know why he just got a message from Admiral James Sandecker from NUMA about rendering every assistance to INTERPOL that they can. Pitt evades the question but does tell Commander Gunn that von Till is a drug smuggler, and they should cooperate in discovering his lair.
