Part 2: Chapters 31-48 Summary

Chapter 31: Max enters Ella's house. Ella introduces Max to her mother. Max learns that Ella's mother is a veterinarian. Ella's mother looks at Max's wounds and discovers Max's wing. Ella's mother acts as if nothing is out of the ordinary and tends to the wound.
