Point of View

Love, Creekwood is told primarily from the point of view of the four main characters - Simon, Bram, Leah, and Abby. Simon's affairs dominate the book, and he can be labeled as the protagonist. As the novella is epistolary and entirely formatted out of emails that the characters send to one another, the perspective changes with each correspondence. The most important communication that takes place is between Simon and Bram, but Simon and Leah's relationship is a close second. The characters express themselves through written word, and the reader weaves together the glimpses of an entire, coherent storyline from characters' recollections and thoughts throughout their first year of college.
