Teddi

Teddi is the main character of the book. Teddi is characterized as being independent, private, and very stubborn. Once she sets her mind on something, she’s determined to get it. She doesn’t back down when she wants to become an antique seller, even when her mother tries to push her down a different course. She’s convinced that Josh is alive and refuses to let anyone tell her otherwise. Whenever she finds an antique that she wants, she gets it. Teddi is shown to be a very shrewd businesswoman, constantly able to haggle towards great prices.
