Forks, Washington

Beau moves to the fictional town of Forks, Washington in order to live with Charlie. Beau says, “In the Olympic Peninsula of northwest Washington State, a small town named Forks exists under a near-constant cover of clouds. It rains on this insignificant town more than any other place in the United States of America” (3). The town has a “depressing gloom” (3). While Beau is not fond of the rainy weather in Forks, it is the climate that enables the Cullens to live there.

First Beach, La Push
