Summary

In Chapter Eleven, Marcus drives Leigh back to the manor. Myra has returned as well, and she comforts Leigh. Leigh tells Myra everything except for seeing Little Bodie. Leigh goes to sleep but is awoken by the ghost of Big Bodie. Big Bodie is furious with Leigh, telling her she betrayed the family. Peg brings Leigh down to the patio, where Tristin, Myra, and Marcus are waiting. Tristin tells Leigh that he has hired a therapist named Miss Tree to live in the manor to watch over her.

Chapter Twelve opens with Leigh being awoken by Miss Tree, informing her that she is also Leigh’s governess and tutor. Miss Tree speaks down to Leigh and treats her like a child, annoying Leigh. It is revealed that two weeks have passed since Leigh ran away, and Miss Tree has just...
