Summary

Still in the past (i.e. the all-night, Friday night party), Arnaq goes up to Ivik and flirts heavily, commenting in narration on how attracted she is to her. She introduces Ivik to Inuk and then becomes so desperate to get Ivik to pay attention to her that she tells her about Inuk’s relationship with Miki Lovstrom. Other people at the party overhear her and become excited at the rumor. Inuk, meanwhile, runs out. Arnaq tells herself that he will forgive her right away. She then has a confused experience of having sex with Ivik who, when Arnaq is finally awake the next morning, tells her to call Inuk and apologize. Arnaq walks out of the strange room she woke up in, past people sprawled on the floor, and goes home.
