Summary

Chapter 6, The Rope, begins with Dana waking up to Kevin standing over her. Kevin had bandaged Dana’s wrist wounds, and Dana told Kevin that Hagar was born. Kevin shaved his beard, and the couple managed to spend 15 days together, trying to readjust to modern life. Suddenly, during a get-together between Kevin, Dana, and their families, Dana felt the dizziness once more, and she was transported back to the 1800s.

When Dana arrived, Rufus tripped over her. Rufus appeared to be healthy, so he asked Dana why she was there. Dana followed Rufus to the barn, and when Rufus opened the door, Rufus and Dana saw Alice hanging from the ceiling, dead. Dana was distraught as she cut the rope to let Alice down. Rufus said that she killed herself, then he walked away. Dana told Sarah what had happened...
