Summary

Chapter 3 begins with Dana reminiscing about her past, and how she met Kevin. Dana used to work at a labor agency, where people would line up and take whatever job was available. She met Kevin working one day, and they spoke about writing. After a few days of conversation, Kevin invited Dana to lunch. That day, they spent the night together.

Back to present day, Kevin was about to go to the library in order to find free papers for Dana’s next trip, but Dana started to feel the dizziness that always preceded her time travel. Kevin held onto her, and he ended up traveling back in time with her. Dana hated that Kevin had to experience this era, but she was relieved that he was there with her.
