Summary

In “Willa,” Willa Stuart had accused David Sanderson of not seeing what was in front of his face. Now she was gone. David asked the other passengers, who had been stranded with him and Willa after the Amtrak train on which they were riding had derailed, if they had seen Willa. One man suggested she had gone to the closest town. Another woman warned David not to try to make the walk because it was getting dark and there were wolves nearby. Others warned David the pick-up train would not wait if he was not there.
