Chapter 15 Summary and Analysis

Joni prays that the Lord will reveal what he has in store for her. It wasn't Don and it wasn't college. What was it? Around this time, Joni begins drawing more frequently. She focuses on sketching outdoor landscapes, people and animals. Joni uses the drawings as gifts and in displays in several local art festivals. She continues to counsel and minister to young Christian girls. Joni tells them that being single is what God has in store for some people. The girls all want to marry and cannot understand how a single life could be fulfilling. Joni has been through the full range of these feelings and understands them but counsels them to concentrate on the Lord and He will see that they are fulfilled in His plan.
