Summary

In Chapter 19, when Rob finally went to Knocknaree to get his car, he watched the archaeologists working. Mark criticized one for taking a smoke break, and the worker made a lewd gesture with his trowel, a gesture that triggered Rob’s memory. Rob suddenly realized the trowel was the key to the case. He went to Sean and asked if he had found his trowel. Sean said he had not and that he had bought a new trowel. He had left the trowel in the finds shed on Monday when he took Hunt a coin he had found. When he went back to get it the following morning, it was not there. He could identify it because he had burned his initials into it.
