Summary

In Chapter 13, Ruby goes to the garage in search of Liam. She finds someone has painted a crescent moon on the floor of the garage and Liam is working on the motorcycle. Ruby struggles to talk to him at first, but Liam begins to confide in her. Ruby asks how he got a specific scar. She saw the scene in Cole's memories and knows Liam's biological father struck him. Liam believes Cole pushed him, causing the injury. They begin to kiss but are interrupted by a girl who shows Liam a helmet. She has painted a crescent moon on it as well. Liam tells Ruby the symbol is so that Anabel's contacts will recognize him, and Ruby knows he is hiding something. She later discovers the symbol is how a reporter from Amplify recognizes him.

The next morning, they gather to see Chubs...
