Summary

Amy and Brian share with his mother the news of his diagnosis and his end-of-life plans. She is devastated but she does not center her grief in her conversations with Amy, serving more as a support. Yvonne is grateful to be kept in the loop by the couple, but she cannot help wishing she had the opportunity to have a closer relationship with her son. She feels more comfortable grieving with her daughters, but she does share an emotional phone call with Amy.

As the holidays approach, there are delays with Dignitas. Amy is secretly happy that the process is not speeding along, but she does not tell anybody else how she feels.
