Chapter 7 Summary

Stephanie takes her grandmother to the funeral home to view Martha's body. While she is there, Stephanie runs into Terry Gilman, Morelli's girlfriend all through high school and the niece of a well known mobster. Stephanie is annoyed when she sees Morelli walk up and say hello to Terry, too. Afterward, Stephanie returns home with a large bag of leftovers, which she eats, leaving her feeling guilty and concerned about fitting into her new dress on Saturday. Stephanie calls Ranger and asks him to go running with her in the morning. However, the exercise does not go well, and Stephanie ends up walking back to her apartment alone. On the way, Stephanie is once again confronted by Ramirez who tells her it is almost time for him to teach her things. Stephanie walks away and meets up with Ranger again in her parking...
