Chapter 21 Summary

Emily boards the bus from Lancaster back to Rosewood. She is convinced that Leah is the one buried in the DiLaurentis hole that was mistaken for Ali. Emily plugs her dead cell phone into a plug on the bus. She receives a text message from A. the text includes a picture of a bunch of fanned out papers. One of the papers is the DNA results but Emily can't read it. A says she'll leave the back door of the police station door open so Emily can get in and see the results for herself.

The inference is that Darren Wilden left Lancaster to make a new life in Rosewood. When Leah comes to town, their previous tumultuous relationship causes Wilden to kill Leah, either accidentally or on purpose. Wilden then uses his place as a police officer to cover up...
