Chapter 8 Summary

Hanna is in the back seat of her father's car with Mike. Isabel and her father are in the front seat. After driving around lost for half an hour, they finally find the Preserve at Addison-Stevens facility. Mike says his goodbyes to Hanna in the lobby, telling her he snuck in a cake with a file in it so she can escape. The hospital seems more like a day sap than an institution.

When Hanna's concierge shows Hanna to her room, she also confiscates her phone. Hanna cannot watch TV, surf the net or have outside contact, except for calls between 4 and 5 on Sundays.

Hanna believes that A is getting her out of the way. A wants to inhibit the investigation of her death, so she is picking off the girls one by one. A has managed to get Hanna checked...
