Page 250-300 Summary

Wonse thinks about running but the dragon can smell his mind. The dragon asks him to explain how things work in the city with men. The dragon doesn't understand how he can be here and eat people and no one will come to stop him. When he questions Wonse about this it is explained that it is human nature to survive and because of that they won't stand up to the dragon because they fear him. The dragon tells him that dragons are supposed to be cruel but they are better than humans because they don't call it morality when they are cruel.
