Summary

Act III, Scene V – Rownie wakes early, eats, and prepares to depart with the fox mask when he runs into Semele, who is continuing to clean up damage from the fight with the masks. Semele wishes Rownie good luck in his efforts. He seeks out a pigeon to contact Graba, but comes across Vass instead. Vass is stunned that Rownie has broken the curse. Vass agrees to deliver the message that Rownie wishes to meet Graba in the Southside Rail Station immediately. As Rownie himself heads toward the station, is surprised to see so many members of the Guard in the Southside. In the station, a fancy railcar suddenly arrives. The Captain of the Guard emerges, and tells Rownie that the Lord Mayor of Zombay would like to speak to him.
