Summary

In “Chapter 23: Wednesday, November 3: 2:00 p.m.,” Tamaya continued through the woods. She spotted a dead animal covered in mud. Her rash was spreading and getting worse. She wanted to turn back because she was afraid, but she was determined to find Chad. She called out to him and finally he appeared with blisters all over his swollen, bloody face. She was terrified and grossed out, but she asked him if he was hungry and offered him her bagged lunch.

In “Chapter 24: The Situation in Heath Cliff (Three Months Later),” Jonathan Fitzman talks to the senators with his lawyer, Donna Jones. He says that Biolene did not have anything to do with the situation in Heath Cliff because the ergies stop reproducing when congealed into the Biolene, and the ergies cannot survive in oxygen.
