Nebraska is the central location for the story "1922." Wilfred lives on a farm miles from Omaha, surrounded by nothing but corn and other farms for miles and miles. Wilfred and Henry love the country, but Arlette is sick of living in the middle of nowhere and wants to move to the city of Omaha, where she thinks she will be happy.
