Part Four: Exit Wounds: Chapters 94 - 99 Summary

Alex and John race for the cabin, bursting in with guns ready. Cooper's lawyer is dead on the floor, and Starkey gives the command to move out. The Vietnamese girls run out the back door and the Three Blind Mice follow, shooting them in the back before they can get to their car. Alex and John both know that they will have to shoot to kill to survive. The quiet that follows is oppressive. Both Alex and John are intensely aware that these men are skilled killers and they are behind enemy lines in a war zone. John notices one of the women is moving and in a low crouch, he runs out to check on her. The shots ring out and Sampson goes down. Alex calls his name and gets no answer...
