Summary

In Chapter 7, Julie goes through orientation at school. She meets two students – Dana and Jamie – who seem to be normal people. After Julie returns home she receives a call from Matt asking her to pick up Celeste at school. Julie had learned that Matt takes Celeste to and from school every day. Matt reminds Julie to take Flat Finn along for the ride.

Julie makes her way to Celeste’s school. Surprisingly, Celeste is fine with the fact that it is Julie, not Matt, that has arrived at school. On the way home Julie suggests stopping at the grocery store. Celeste says she never goes into stores and is vehemently against the plan. She changes her mind when she sees that Flat Finn is going to go, too. Celeste gives in and goes shopping with Julie.
