chapters 25 - 32 Summary

Back in English class, Mr. Hamilton asks his students to get out their journals because he wants to check them. Shannon and Blake exchange their journals and read them. Shannon wrote a lot about her relationship with Blake. To her dismay, Blake only merely and methodically wrote down what they did. Both Mr. Hamilton and Shannon describe Blake's journal as "eclectic."

In photography class, Mr. Malloy is not wearing his usual beret, seems to be distracted, and assigns a free study class. Marissa has been missing for a few days so Blake decides to call her grandma, Mary. Reluctantly, Mary divulges that Anne has run away again and Marissa has been out looking for her. The police have not been called because of her history with drug abuse. Blake takes his concern about the situation to his mom, who is willing...
