Summary

In Chapter 12, when Charlie heard the man talk, he realized it was the man he knew as Rumpelstiltskin. He used the gun to direct Charlie to the house and upstairs to the safe. Charlie talked to the man about how much gold was inside the safe as he spun the wheel. The man asked Charlie to stop stalling. As soon as Charlie opened the door, he overturned the bucket of gold pellets and dived into the closet. The man fired at Charlie, but missed. Charlie threw Bowditch’s shoes at the man until the man began backing away and fell on the rolling gold pellets. Charlie tackled the man, broke his wrist, and took the gun from him.
