Summary

In Chapter 33, Eleanor began telling Maria Temple about the house fire from her childhood. She asked aloud where Marianne was. Skipping to Chapter 34, Eleanor met with Raymond. She asked him if he was dating Laura. Raymond said he did not want to further pursue a relationship with Laura because they did not have much in common. Then he revealed that he had searched Eleanor’s history online. He offered to help give Eleanor answers about her lost memories when she was ready. In Chapter 35, Eleanor told Maria Temple about Marianne, who was Eleanor’s sister. Sammy’s son Keith visited Eleanor in her flat one night to give her a red sweater of Sammy’s that Eleanor had admired.
