Zuulaman - Chapters 9-16 Summary

Saetan cannot stop hearing his baby's cries, which worsen after he has a message from Hekatah that she is unharmed but that her safety depends on his future actions. He immediately notices that she hasn't said anything about their baby. Thus, when Andulvar asks him if everything is taken care of, Saetan tells him, "not everything." Later, Andulvar looks for him, but can't find his friend anywhere. However, members of the staff complain that the Ambassador left, taking every item from Zuulaman with him in the middle of the night. Confused, Andulvar goes to Zuulaman to see what happened. Saetan, at the Keep, finally gets the baby to stop crying, but ascends from the "twisted kingdom" of his mind to find that he has drained his jewels and their power. He is unsure what happened; but meanwhile...
