The Prince of Ebon Rih - Chapters 6-10 Summary

In Chapter 6, Jaenelle comes to retrieve Marian, and is furious to find her so upset, as Jaenelle had explained the situation to Luthvian and even given her extra money. With Jaenelle, Marian rides the winds to Lucivar's home. When Marian and Lucivar see each other, they are both overwhelmed with attraction for each other. After Jaenelle leaves, Lucivar gives Marian some of his terrible coffee and shows her her room. She is uncomfortable, knowing his power.

Marian, meanwhile, becomes even more scared when she discovers that Tassle can talk. She awakes to find that Lucivar has made their breakfast, and she is ashamed that she has already failed in her duties as hearth witch.
