Chapter 6 Summary

Kylara is exultant when she finally finds a full nest of fire lizard eggs, which she intends to give to Meron of Nabol to see if he can Impress one. If he succeeds, she will likely enjoy his "natural endowment" when the lizards eventually mate. Kylara carefully packs 34 hardened eggs and flies to Nabol Hold; Prideth has tolerated Kylara's preoccupation and basked in the sun while she quarters burning sands looking for nests.
