Part III, Ajima Island: Chapters 46 - 48 Summary

The three most recently apprehended captives are separated and placed in rooms not nearly as luxurious as those Loren and Senator Diaz occupy, but certainly as secure. The Japanese intend to play a psychological game with their captives, misdirecting and giving them untrue information. Pitt and Giordino are imprisoned together, and when confronted by Kamatori, they use their typical banter and nonchalant manner to disarm the assassin. They succeed in angering him by not seeming to take their position very seriously. Kamatori would like nothing better than to dispatch both of them, but he must invite all the prisoners to have dinner with Suma.
