Chapters 19-20 Summary

While Skink drives Catherine's boat up the Intracoastal Waterway to Ft. Lauderdale, Tile gets off work and returns home to tend to a gunshot wound in his thigh. Tied up on the floor are the Rundell brothers. Culver has a broken jaw. Tile unties Ozzie and questions him about Bobby Clinch and Ott Pickney. Ozzie does not know anything about Clinch but was present when the Curl boys killed Pickney. Ozzie swears he had nothing to do with it and did not see the actual murder. However, Ozzie does tell Tile that the Curl boys killed Pickney because he was curious about Clinch's boat. Tile thanks Ozzie and helps him get his brother into his truck, allowing the boys to go free.
