Summary

Isaac began dreaming of being an actor when he was 12, earning the lead in the school play. They adapted “Annie” to “Andy”, and Isaac was so proud of himself even though Jacob was ashamed once he saw his son wearing a wig and costume. Jacob berate Isaac and the family went to bed, unhappy. The next morning, Jacob demanded that his son answer whether he wanted to be a sissy. Rachel told Isaac that he did not have to answer such a disrespectful question and Jacob felt humiliated in front of his son. When he grabbed Isaac, Rachel held a knife to his neck and demanded he let Isaac go. Jacob felt powerless because he knew if he did anything to Rachel, his son would hate him. Nobody spoke in the house in the following days.
