Chapter 11-15 Summary

Chapter 11 Frank Balistrieri

Frank Balistrieri is the Mafia boss in Milwaukee. Lefty has a meeting with Balistrieri and Conti and Pistone are asked to join them. They all go to Blaistrieri's house for dinner. Lefty is very impressed to be invited to Balistrieri's house; in New York, you do not socialize with the Bosses.

Lefty, Pistone and Conti are introduced to all the mob guys in Milwaukee during this visit. Balistrieri has several diners and shows them around town. At one of these functions Lefty volunteers Pistone to run Balistrieri's bookkeeping operation. Later, when Lefty talks to Pistone about working for Balistrieri, Pistone refuses to stay and work with Balistrieri. Lefty has to rescind the offer. He is very upset with Pistone.

When Lefty and the boys return to New York, Balistrieri stops returning their phone calls. No one knows what...
