Greg's walk to school

Between his house and school is the setting of much of Greg's current life struggles. On the walk to and from school is where Greg encounters the Mingo kids, Rebel the Rottweiler, and Mr. Sandoval, all of whom have something against Greg and Rowley. Greg dreads the walk now, though, since Rowley isn't with him. On the walk, Greg also faces dog poop and mud puddles, both of which Rowley and Fregley used to warn Greg about.
