Summary

Greg decides to spend the weekend playing Net Critterz, but his mom insists he have real-life interaction instead. Greg decides to hang out with Rowley. Rowley annoys Greg by saying “LOL” instead of actually laughing. While playing a word phrase game that night, Rowley and Greg disagree on the spelling of “volleyball”, which Rowley insists begins with a “B”. To avoid an argument and settle the issue, they agree on the challenge of going into the woods to their summer tree fort to write their name on the wood. Whoever chickens out is wrong about volleyball, and must call the other person “sir” forever. Having written his name on the fort during the summer, Greg swings back to the house without Rowley seeing him, pretending there was a bear. It frightens Rowley into giving up.
