Summary

In Chapter 28, Virgil starts looking for evidence to support his theory that David is the killer. His focus is on the timeline that David gave him compared to the actual timeline of events Once he sees that the two do not match, he calls Pweters and they plan to meet later at the cabin. He also gets information that proves that Dave has the type of gun that killed Margot.

In Chapter 29, Birkmann knows from the call that Virgil made to him that whatever Virgil is working on will reveal that he killed Gina.
